When Abraham Lincoln and the United States passed the 13th Amendment, they outlawed involuntary servitude.

So why is it that one state after another believes they have the right to compel Christian artists and business owners to serve homosexual “weddings?”

It doesn’t matter whether or not these Christians would ultimately get paid for their services; they are being compelled against their will to perform them.

And that’s a direct violation of the 13th Amendment.

The 13th Amendment bans involuntary servitude, while the First Amendment guarantees Religious Freedom.
